A procurement packet for AI time tracking
Before a purchase order, or before a shortlist hardens, IT, security, and the partners need one binder. It is not another score. It is the evidence: security intake, commercial terms, proof the Clio path works, proof of pause and approval, and an honest SOC 2 sentence. A blank tab stays open. A savings number does not close it.
LegalTime AI is built for privacy-conscious firms on Clio, ideally about 10 to 30 lawyers, comfortable up to about 50, with headcount up to about 100. It sits beside the practice system. Capture is local-first on the attorney device by default. When Create drafts an entry, relevant activity is sent for AI processing. Drafts stay with the attorney until release. The attorney approves before release. Pause exists. This is not a monitoring tool. A SOC 2 Type II examination is in progress. LegalTime AI is not SOC 2 certified. Pricing is quote-only. A directory note sometimes cites about $125 per seat per month. Get a firm quote.
If a control has already failed in production, open the control-failure playbook before you harden the order. Questions you still need to ask live on the vendor diligence checklist. If the firm is about to close a billing period, also open the month-end close checklist before invoices leave.

The SOC 2 tab is closed only when it says a Type II examination is in progress and the product is not certified.
