How does LegalTime know what I am working on?

The desktop app reads on-screen activity locally on the attorney machine. It groups related tasks, identifies the matter and billing code, and drafts a narrative. Nothing leaves the machine in raw form. Only the entries you approve are sent to your billing system.

Which practice management software do you support?

Clio Manage, MyCase, Filevine, PracticePanther, SurePoint, Centerbase, TimeSolv, and Harvest. If your firm uses something else, we want to hear from you.

What happens to client data?

Raw screen activity stays on the device. Only the entries you approve leave your machine, and they go straight to your practice management software through your firm’s existing OAuth connection. We sign a DPA with every firm. We never train shared models on your content.

How accurate are the drafted entries?

Accuracy improves with use. Every correction you make trains the system at three levels: your account, your firm, and across the customer base. The product is in early access and we are obsessive about the math. Every released entry can be audited.

Do I have to change how I work?

No. LegalTime watches the work you are already doing. There is no new app to log into, no timer to start, no new way to capture tasks. Review takes about five minutes at end of day.
